NEBŪ HERBAL TEA BENEFITS
NEBŪ Wellness Herbal Teas are a collection of fragrant, herbal tisanes that promote overall health, wellness and aim to put the body into a state of balance. This state of balance and alkalinity is an optimal position for the body to prevent and fight disease while healing itself naturally.
The benefits of Tisanes, or Herbal Teas, have been utilized in ancient healing medicine for centuries. They calm and de-stress the body while promoting overall wellness. Tisanes are fragrant blends that feature a variety of different herbs, flowers and fruits. They are full of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and healing properties. Tisanes naturally improve your digestion and boost your immune system, helping you prevent and fight illness.
Tisanes are not considered to be ‘true tea.’ They are made from the infusions of berries, roots, leaves, flowers and spices and are often caffeine free, while all true teas derive from the plant Camellia Sinensis.
Drinking loose leaf vs. store bought, pre-bagged tea allows you to fully experience the beauty of the herb as the whole leaves and flowers expand and unfurl. From its freshness of smell and vibrancy of color you are able to discern the quality of what you are consuming. Store bought bagged teas can be convenient, but are more likely to contain dust, broken, dried or stale tea leaves and herbs that have likely lost their potency and aroma. They are often mass produced overseas in large batches, only to sit on the shelf for months before they make it into your cup.
Looseleaf teas contain the WHOLE compound of an herb versus broken leaves, fannings and isolates, giving you access to higher amounts of polyphenols and antioxidants. Looseleaf tea also proves better for the environment as many tea bags are not compostable.
All NEBŪ Herbal Tea Blends are always made FRESH to order with Fair Trade, Wild Harvested and Organic Herbs. All herbal tea blends come in sizes 8 oz and approximately 30 oz in volume. Both sizes will go a long way, as it’s only necessary to use 1-2 teaspoons of herb per 8 oz cup of tea you prepare.
